European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 12 June 2006, T-Mobile, one of the leading German mobile communications companies, announced the creation of 200 jobs in its customer service departments till the end of 2006. The creation of another 250 jobs shall follow till the end of 2007. After conducting a follow-up collective bargaining agreement for its employees, the management stated in a press release its plans to create the mentioned 450 jobs that shall safeguard T-Mobiles business expansion strategy.
