Description
Boxmark Leather is a company which produces leather for suppliers in the automobile industry. The company is owned by Austrian firm Schmidt. Schmidt decided to relocate the most technologically sophisticated part of leather production from Slovenia to Croatia, where it already built new production premises. This will make 184 workers in the existing production programme of Boxmark Leather in Slovenia redundant. However, Boxmark Leather just launched some new production programmes and 150 of the workers will be employed there. Therefore, 34 employees will lose their jobs.
