Description
Zero emission vehicle technology firm Tanfield Group has said it plans to use a former electronics factory site in Washington, Wearside, to expand its own operations. Up to 400 jobs are being promised as part of the revitalisation of the site. The move follows Tanfield's take-over of a Dublin-based engineering company. The deal to expand the Washington site was achieved with cash help from regeneration agency One NorthEast.
