Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American garden equipments manufacturer Briggs and Stratton has initiated construction of a new assembly hall in industrial zone Ostrava-Hrabová with investment of 600 million CZK which is the first huge investment outside US territory. The first European plant of the company, whose production is scheduled at the beginning of 2007, will create about 125 jobs in the first stage. The foreign investor plans to employ gradually up to 250 people.
