European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The American group Stanley Works, which bought the French specialist in the Facom tools in 2005 decided to close 3 sites. Part of the activity should be transferred towards other factories in France and part of the activity should be delocalized in Czech Republic (before the end 2006). According to trade unions', 219 to 534 jobs could be lost.
