European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish company Sonion is opening an accountancy services centre in Mierzyn by Szczecin. The facility will provide book keeping services for the six Sonion units operating in various European countries as well as operating an IT infrastructure unit, a human resources office, and a projects and engineering works department. Sonion Polska presently employs over 1,000 people; as of July 2006, it will hire another 150. The Sonion group is a manufacturer of hearing aids and of components for mobile handsets.
