More than 200 jobs are to be created by a £10m expansion of a human resources agency's Belfast facility. Reed Managed Services currently employs 62 people in the city (2500 overall), the expansion will see that rise to 220. It will provide human resources, shared services and technical support to the UK and Ireland from Belfast. Finance director Derek Beal said they wanted to 'grow into a market-leading HR consultancy & outsourced services business'.
'This expansion will help us to increase market share and expand our client portfolio,' he said.
The investment is being backed by £1.9m in assistance from Invest Northern Ireland. Invest NI's Chief Executive, Leslie Morrison, said the project would contribute £5m in salaries to the Northern Ireland economy.
