European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Brose, the German producer of components for vehicles is negotiating with the municipality of Arad the purchase of a land of 50 ha, in order to invest EUR 50 million. EUR 40 million will be invested by Brose and EUR 10 million by Webasto (a German company supplying to Brose).
The investment will generate 1,000 new jobs; building will start at the end of May and will be finalised in a minimum of one year and a maximum of two years.
