Vilniaus Vingis, one of the largest manufacturers of electronic components in Lithuania, which employs 1000 people, had to dismiss 100 workers because of reduced production orders. This situation was conditioned by the bankruptcy of Ekranas, one of the biggest clients of Vilniaus Vingis. According to the company administration, there is a possibility that even more workers will lose their jobs.
