Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Like other investors (Spanish Estamp and Italian Scanferla) before, the French NPL S Company now decided to establish its subsidiary in Slovakia. NPL S will establish its production unit in new industrial zone in Zlaté Moravce (local municipality provides the ground and infrastructure facilities) to produce metal and plastic parts and components for automotive industry. German Volkswagen and Danish Danfoss already operate in the region. According to the announced shedule, production in the plant will start with 50 employees by the end of September 2006. The French investor initially planned to employ 150 employees there till the end of 2007. Now, the company management decided to increase this figure up to 300.
