Description
Eastman Kodak Company (Kodak) provides products and services to the photographic, graphic communications and healthcare markets. As of December 31, 2005, the Company reported three business segments: Digital & Film Imaging Systems (D&FIS), Health Group, and Graphic Communications Group. Kodak, the US photographic services group, is to shed a further 330 jobs at its plant in Chalon-sur-Saone, it announced on Wednesday. At present, around 900 people are employed at the site. The new job cuts stem from management's decision to stop coating operations and the production of radiographic film accessories by the summer.
