European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Automobile Dacia, which is part of the Renault-Nissan group, is to create 3,600 new jobs (3,000 management posts and 600 production posts) in the next two years with the launch of two new models of vehicles (pick-up and hatchback) at its site in Mioveni. The production capacity is expected to increase from 215,000 in 2007 to 400,000 units/year in the next two years. The group invested in 2007 EUR 250 million and announced for 2008 new investments amounting to EUR 300 million.
