European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Giannoni SA France, the French company that designs and manufactures stainless steel thermal exchangers for gas boilers. At present, Giannoni France employs 430 staff, divided between its sites in Morlaix and Lannion. The company, which conducts 95 per cent of its business abroad, says that it has been able to keep its production activities in France as innovation has allowed it to reduce workforce costs. Having mainly focused on boilers for homes until now, the group has begun to diversify its activities and to produce a new modular range for industry.
