Siemens is building a factory for electrical transformer components near Botevgrad (Sofia region), announced the manager of Siemens - Bulgaria, Mr. Georgi Neshev. This is the first factory of Siemens in Bulgaria and the investment is between €2 million and €5 million. 100 new jobs are to be created. The recruitment process has already started. Both the managerial team and the employees will be Bulgarian. Production will be exclusively for export, Mr Neshev explained. Siemens owns two other factories producing electrical transformer components, one in Canada and one in China. Bulgaria was selected among five European countries because of its economic stability, high productivity and good quality of production, said Mr Jean-Michelle Eret, Director of Siemens Trench in Switzerland.
