European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Czech company Apos Blansko is to produce printer cartridges for Lexmark, a US based supplier of printing and imaging solutions. The company has already hired 120 people and a further 230 are to be hired by the end of 2006. Apos Blansko will receive financial support from the government for two thirds of the employees hired.
Last year, Apos Blansko won a tender launched by Lexmark, which was looking for a suitable place to expand its production. Lexmark decided to relocate production from Slovakia to the Czech Republic.
