European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
InBev, the leading global brewer based in Belgium (Leuven), announced its intention to create a European Shared Service Centres, and to outsource its Business Systems and Application Services for certain European countries. The Czech Republic has been chosen as the most appropriate location for a centre to provide Export services. The project is to start in the first part of 2006 and is expected to generate 107 new jobs.
