European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Łódzki Zespół Elektrociepłowni (heating company) announced that it will fire circa 200 people. It came as a shock to the workers, as the company became a part of French Dalkia only in the last quarter of 2005. According to the employees Dalkia promised that there will be no cuts of employment in the nearest future.
