Description
Oxfordshire County Council have launched a £27 million efficiency drive that will see 125 jobs cut. However they have added that none of their workers would be forced to take redundancy. The council says that while 125 jobs will go, the cuts would be dealt with through the ending of temporary contracts and natural turnover. A spokesman said: 'Less use of temporary contract staff, general staff turnover and redeploying of staff to front line services will mean that there will be few, if any, redundancies.'
