Description
Rettenmeier company established its first subsidiary, Rettenmeier Tatra Timber, in Slovakia in 1999. The German company announced in February 2006 it is to extend the production in its subsidiary Rettenmeier Polomka Timber, operating in Slovakia since 2004. Around SKK 500 million will be invested in the development of Polomka plant between 2006 and 2009. Installation of a new sawmill in 2006 will contribute to annual production of 180,000 cubic meters of timber. Some 100 jobs will be created in the process.
