Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Electronics company Flextronics plans to lay off 950 workers from its east Hungarian plant. The Nyíregyháza-based plant currently has 2,000 employees. The company announced that their production cycle was seasonal and the current lay-offs would affect as many people as were hired in the last six months of 2005. Flextronics has reported the lay-offs to the county's unemployment centre.
