Description
The Intier automotive factory in Bitton, South Gloucestershire is to close with the loss of 200 jobs according to a union source. Ken Baker, an official of the GMB trades union, said that the union was approached by the company to begin negotiations. The plant which employs more than 200 people is due to close by August 2006. The firm has been serving the motor industry with dashboards and other components for vehicles.
