Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The defence company Thales in Taunton has announced that around 140 jobs are at risk out of a workforce of just over 200. Some staff could be relocated to Glasgow and other Thales sites across the UK. A spokesman for the company in Somerset said the potential job losses were part of a drive to reduce costs and increase business efficiency.
