Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

In October 2005, the Council of the Małopolska Province decided to close down a children's rehabilitation hospital in Rabka — the famous Polish children's spa. The hospital had financial problems that got worse when desperate staff requested overdue wages. As a result, court executive officer took over hospital's account. The hospital operates since 1937. It treated children suffering from respiratory diseases, diabetes and postural defects. Fired hospital's employees have little chances to find employment in other medical institutions in their area.
