Description

One of Devon's biggest meat factories is to lose 180 jobs at its Willand site. Lloyd Maunder, based near Cullompton, announced that it was shedding almost a fifth of its workforce. The firm blamed the loss of an important supermarket account. The company said it was building on its other processed meats and sausage production, as well as the development of its retail chain of butcher's shops.
