Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Meat producer Kreatina will construct a second plant in Swinoujscie costing 40 million zlotys. In 2005, the company invested in a smoked meat packaging plant in Swinoujscie. The value of last year's project stands at 20 million zlotys with output directed at Swedish and Danish markets. ‘We plan to construct another plant in Swinoujscie, which will not only pack but also process meat,’ said Jagusz. Thanks to the investment employment will increase from a few dozen to a few hundred persons. Output will initially stand at 100 tonnes per week, while final capacity will amount to 900 tonnes. Kreatina will import meat from Denmark, Sweden and Germany, but it might also purchase meat from domestic companies.
