Description
Cadbury Schweppes announced its plans to invest €100 million in Poland. The greenfield investment consists of a new chewing-gum factory construction. It is the largest investment in the food products sector in 2005. The construction of the new factory in Poland will commence shortly. In 2008 the plant will be fully equipped and ready for production of sugar-free chewing-gum. It will create around 300 new jobs with the possibility of further expansion to a total of 500 employees. Gums produced in Poland will be sold mainly to Northern European markets.
