Gamesa Aeronáutica is specialised in the manufacture of components for aircraft like engines and wings and belongs to the Consortium Gamesa. The company has two other companies in its aeronautical division, Fuasa with 220 employees and Moasa with 170 employees. The Gamesa Aeronautica company has decided to suppress 233 positions at its Miñamo plant (Alava, Vasque Country): 160 employees and 73 subcontractors' employees will lose their jobs. The decision has been taken in order to restructure the company due to a decrease of its activity.
