European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch company Leaf has decided to invest in Slovakia. Its new subsidiary will be established in the industrial zone where the South Korean Hankook Tires Company intended to operate before deciding to invest in Hungary. According to the Mayor of Levice the new investment of SKK 1 billion will effectively help to compensate the gap in regional employment which emerged after the decision of Hankook Tires not to come to the region.
