The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Supplier of mobile phone services Dolphin Telecom will have to close its operations by 30 November 2005 after going into receivership in July 2001. After legal squabbles with Vodafone have dragged on for years, hobbling Dolphin Telecom in its efforts to raise its turnover, British investor Inquam has pulled the emergency brake. It has - for four years - injected money to the tune of € 1 million per month into Dolphin Telecom. 120 employees of Dolpin Telecom will lose their jobs.
