Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The brewers Coors has confirmed more than 200 jobs are to be shed until 2008 at its plant in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The company said the jobs are being cut as part of an ongoing process to cut costs by £50 million by 2008. It said the losses will be absorbed through retiring staff and others taking voluntary redundancy. Coors closed its Cape Hill brewery in Birmingham - which employed 320 people - in 2002.
