Benteler Automobiltechnik, one of the largest international automotive parts supplier with headquarters in Paderborn, Germany, has opened through its Czech subsidiary Benteler Automotive Rumburk a new plant in Rumburk in the Ústí nad Labem Region. This new project involves an investment of 1.5 billion CZK and will create about 350 job opportunities in the coming years. For the area hit hard with unemployment, this investment is very important. The German company is now represented in the Czech Republic by sites in Stráž nad Nisou, Liberec, Chrastava, and Rumburk, where the company employs more than 1,000 people.
