European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bauknecht, producer of kitchen appliances, will cut 106 out of 650 jobs at its factory in Neunkirchen, Saarland. The production of dish washers in Neunkirchen was too expensive in comparison to its competitors, Bauknecht says, and will therefore be transferred to a factory in Poland.
