European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cehave announced it will merge the Dutch Poultry slaughterhouse Astenhof with the Belgian Flandrex. 135 jobs on the 230 will be cut through direct dismissals. The company is also looking to sell the German branch of Astenhof. A social plan will be negotiated with the unions. The new enterprise should start its activities on 1 January 2005.
