Car dealer group Heister, headquartered in the city of Trier (West Germany), will cut employment by 261. Heister filed for insolvency recently and can only be revived through massive cuts. The remaining employees forego extra benefits in order to save their jobs. The affected employees will partly be transferred to a job-creation company.
