Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 23 September 2005 the producer of industrial chemicals Kemira Pigments, started codetermination negotiations with the personnel in order to cut 80 jobs. The aim of the restructuring is to seek cost savings in order to be able to quarantee the production of titanium dioxide.
