Producer of eyeglass lenses Carl Zeiss Vision will transfer parts of its production to Hungary, the company announced. Carl Zeiss Vision is partly owned by private equity investor EQT. Local politicians expressed their discontent with the company's decision. Negotiations with trade union officials are to begin soon.
