Description
Burgmaier, the German company which acts as a subcontractor for German motorcar producers decided to establish its subsidiary in Slovakia. With a 24% unemployment rate in the region where the new investment is planned to be located, the company assumes to receive some investment stimulus from the Slovak government. In 2005 the company will invest around €7 million to build a new production plant there. This investment is planned even to be increased to € 15 million till the end of 2014. Up to 300 employees would be employed in the subsidiary at that time.
