European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Insight, an industrial site developer has begun work on a new industrial development in Bridgend which backers hope will create up to 200 new jobs in south Wales. The company said it hoped the units, totalling 64,000 square feet, will be completed in December 2005. The £4 million development is supported by Objective One grant assistance. The Bridgend area has been hit by hundreds of recent job losses, including 650 at Sony's TV plants.
