Description
In the second half of 2004, the Japanese concern, after 3 year's break, resumed its investment in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The company manufactures steering columns and systems for car industry. The company invested €13 million in Wałbrzych. The costs of land and a production, storage and office building were 45% of that. Production started on 5 September 2005. It will gradually increase to reach 400,000 steering systems yearly. Currently the plant employs 100 people, and at the end of 2005 it will employ 131 workers. It is foreseen, that the plant will employ 280 people in 2006, 400 in 2007 and at the productions peak in 2009 - 591 people.
