Baltic Timber Industry - a company with 100% United States stock capital - will produce glueboards only for the US market at the industrial park of Liepaja. The company has installed new US manufactured equipment and plans to employ 150 employees, including qualified wood processing specialists as well as machine operators and other low qualification workers. The company has just received the status of a free economic zone enterprise.
