Description

On 27 July 2005, Flextronics announced to start cooperation negotiations with the whole personnel. Its aim is to cut 210 jobs at the Oulu unit. The job cuts will be carried out due to the plans to move the activities to Asia. On 29 December 2005, after closed codetermination negotiation round, Flextronics informed to make 162 employees redundant at Oulu and Kuopio units.
