Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Producer of smart cards Giesecke & Devrient has announced the transfer of parts of its production from Bavaria to Slovakia. 160 employees at the company's factory in Louisenthal are affected. A redundancy programme is being negotiated with workers' council. The management has explained the move with increased competition and shrinking margins.
