Description

MD Papier in Dachau, a company belonging to Myllykoski Continental, has announced the loss of 95 jobs, 22 % of the workforce, at its paper factory. A company source said that the reason was in the continuing pressure on prices and margins: While variable costs have risen by 10 % since 2001, paper prices have gone down by 24 %.
