European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Purac Nederland, part of Dutch food company CSM NV, will cut some 65 jobs. The restructuring will affect mainly the production and support services of Purac Biochem in Gorinchem and Purac Glucochem in Ter Apelkanaal. Forced redundancies are inevitable. The restructuring, which is scheduled to be completed in 2006, will improve the efficiency.
