Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In July 2004, Vivendi Universal agreed with the Ministry of Finance to support areas affected by unemployment. In the frame of this agreement, the company announced on June 2005 it will create 250 jobs in Saône-et-Loire by the end of 2008, in order to help recreating activity following the closure of Kodak's site.
