Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Europe's biggest pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline announced on 1 July 2005 the expansion of its operations in Dresden. On 19 October 2006 it confirmed that the production of influenza-vaccines is to double in 2008, when a new complex of Glaxo's factory will become operational. This will lead to the creation of 170 jobs. In addition to the built-up of more production capacity, a new vaccine will also be developed in Dresden.
