Description
Pfizer said it plans to shut down a factory that employs about 500 people in Stockholm by 2008, as part of a global cost-cutting plan. The shutdown of the factory, which produces injection ampoules filled with growth hormone, will be phased out until 2008, as the company has canceled plans to develop a new product there, said Zeibrant Lindqvist, chief executive of Pfizer's Swedish branch.
