Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Shin-Etsu Polymer is a Japanese multinational with activities in the manufacturing and sales of materials made from silicone rubber, PVC and supplementary materials for the electronics, packaging and building & construction markets. Shin-Etsu Polymer Hungary started the production of silicone base keypad devices in Hungary in March 2004 for the European customers. The company has bought a new plant in Industrial Park of Győr. The investment will create 60-70 jobs in 2005. In the long run the company undertook to employ 220 people.
