Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Spanish Keros Ceramica is investing €12 million in a new factory for wall and floor tiles production. The company is expected to be built and start functioning by 2006, announced Mr. Hose Benavent, owner of Keros Keramica and Mr. Salvador Ferer, president of the management board of Keros Bulgaria, during a press conference. In a second phase, the company intends to raise its investment up to € 20 million. The capacity of the production is foreseen to be 9,000 square metres per day(5 million square metres per year). Keros Ceramica was founded in 1994 in Nules, Spain. Currently the company has a turnover of €30 million per year and exports all over the world. The Bulgarian factory will be the first plant outside Spain.
