German NORD will construct an €8 million plant of shafts, gear wheels, and assembling moto reducers in the Kostrzyń-Słubice Special Economic Zone. Eventually employment will reach the level of 200 persons. Poland is already one of the most important clients of reducer engines of Getriebebau NORD, and thus most of the output will be designated for the Polish market.
Construction works at the site will be commenced in 2005, while the launch of production is scheduled for 2006. Initially the investor will construct a production facility of 6,000 m, which will employ 20 full-time employees. In the foreseeable future the company intends to expand the plant, which would enable to create additional 80 new jobs. Eventually the employment will increase to 200 persons.
